SAINT ROCCO CATHOLIC CHURCH

Newly built, Saint Rocco Catholic Church is the first national parish designated by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia for Hispanics. The Faux Pro was responsible for the specialty finishing on the 28' tall x 20' wide retablo  behind the altar and statue niches to the left and right of the retablo. Everything that you see in gold in the photos was gilded by The Faux Pro in real gold. The red arches in the center of the retablo are faux marble painted to match real red marble at the base of the structure. The sky painting in the top center was painted by the Faux Pro and the eight small columns and two large columns were marbleized to match the real marble on the altar table. The four large 18' structural support columns to the side and rear of the retablo were painted to match the real marble in the altar.  The church seats 500 and is located at 333 Sunny Dell Rd., Avondale, Pa.
